    Responsibilities

           

    The tasks may be required to perform may include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist with operation of drilling rig and support equipment effectively
    • Aid in maintaining tooling, prepping for assignments, setting up tooling, sampling equipment, sampling, classifying samples, and cleanup
    • Assist in loading and unloading equipment/tooling
    • Assist on the working floor- normal drilling procedures
    • Follow all safety regulations
    • Perform material inventory as needed/assigned
    • Provide own transportation to shop daily

    Qualifications

     

    • Willing to travel and stay out of town if needed on some occasions
    • A problem solver that can address roadblocks with poise and control
    • Ability to lift heaving tooling (approximately 50-75 lbs) repetitively and perform laborious work daily
    • Should have basic math skills
    • Good customer relations skills
    • Must be punctual and dependable
    • Must be able to write legibly
    • Must have ability to follow instructions
    • Must be willing to work on a team
    • Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record verifications

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Prior experience providing drilling services
    • Certifications: HSA, SPT, mud rotary, and/or rock coring are a plus
